Essential Duties: - Announcing a New Compensation Plan - Range Salary:  Singles Drivers:  $80,000 - $100,000  Doubles Drivers:  $110,000 - $125,000 - Drivers paid $40 any night in the sleeper berth while "under dispatch", $40 for each Live load or unload, paid $20 for each drop/hook of a loaded trailer, & all complete pickup and deliveries occurring in the boroughs of NYC paid $100 - Operating regionally in the Northeast (generally making runs from the Western New York area to the east coast between Maine and Maryland).  - Enjoy the benefits of being home every weekend and sometimes make it home throughout the week - Reset hours are ALWAYS at home.  - It may surprise you that our ice cream is only about 5% of what you would be transporting, we have several other long time customers that we deliver for.  - Complying with all Department of Transportation regulations and completing all necessary company paperwork.   What We’re Looking For: - A Class A Certified Driver’s License; - Class A transportation / over the road driving experience is a big plus, especially if you have experience driving in  metropolitan areas in the Northeast; - Accountability to exercise safe behavior; - Compliance with our policies and DOT regulations; - Quality map reading skills; - Physical ability to carry up to 75 lbs and bend and climb regularly; - Physical ability to push, pull a dolly loaded with product weighing up to 500 lbs; - Flexibility to work irregular schedule; - Capability to be away on overnight routes possibly every other night (at the most out of town Sunday or Monday through Friday); - Good communication skills (written and verbal) including ability to check in with us regularly; - Passion for customer service and representing yourself and Perry’s with the highest quality; - High integrity and commitment to teamwork; and - Must pass DOT physical and drug test, and have a clean MVR. Repairs/maintains facilities, production support systems.  May be required to manually move large equipment or components from one area of the plant to another. This person will be a member of in plant HAZMAT team and an active member of the PSM Team along with willingness to obtain RETA, CARO or CIRO certification. Willing to be trained in the importance of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and upon completion of the training, demonstrate knowledge of the CCP’S.   JOB EXPECTATIONS - CARO or CIRO Certification preferred - Stationary Engineers License preferred. - PLC experience a plus. - Demonstrable experience with steam plant operations - HAZMAT training. - Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety - Complies with all Safety, GMP, PSM and RMP regulations. - Ability to pass a HAZMAT physical. - Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders. - Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our computerized Maint.
