DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Regular work schedule: Sun-Thur. 6:00PM to 2:30am

Job Summary:
This role will be responsible to lead and optimize our shipping and receiving operations, while ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. In addition the Supervisor will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving positive change in a union environment. Support the production of a safe, high-quality product and team member safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Lead and mentor warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance.
• Work closely with union leadership and team members to assure a proactive and mutually respectful labor - management relationships
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe secure working environment.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to optimize supply chain operations.
• Partner with Logistics Coordinator on the scheduling, execution, productivity, and commercialization of shipping and receiving activities.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and ensure proper documentation of shipments.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve warehouse productivity and workflow.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement efficiency improvements to streamline warehouse processes and reduce operational costs.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics; previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of employment laws and OSHA safety regulations
• Experience leading and working with Employees in a Union environment is a plus
• Ability to work primarily on 2nd shift, with flexibility to support all shifts on occasion

Base salary range $60,000-$70,000 commensurate with relevant skills and experience plus $500 quarterly shift differential.
